› Playing Media - Participation, Immersion, Interaction
The conference "Playing Media" was the annual meeting for the Gesellschaft für Medienwissenschaften Hamburg and was organized in cooperation with the Institut für Medienforschung (IMF) at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste (HBK) Braunschweig, Germany. It concentrated on the term "participation", which describes the ongoing changes in dealing with new media and explored the connection between "classical" and "new" media. › Ohne Schnur / No Cord - Communication art at the interface between art, technology and society
Symposium held by "Cuxhavener Kunstverein" in cooperation with the Institute of art history, LMU Munich. Media theorists, art and media scientists as well as media artists held lectures and discussed the history of communication and media art and the effects of mobile communication on our society.
