Abstract
The World Heritage Tour (WHTour) is a non-profit association dedicated to creating a documentary image bank of panoramic pictures and virtual reality films for all sites registered as World Heritage by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The WHTour has covered sites in China, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam (in Asia), and Egypt (in Africa).

Comment
World-Heritage-Tour allows people to visit almost any place from practically any location without time constraints. The user can navigate through a 360-degree VR panorama of each cultural heritage site, viewing it from various angles and zooming in and out .
There are 754 cultural and natural sites inscribed on the World Heritage List. So far, the WHTour has covered Bangladesh, China, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand, The Philippines, Vietnam in Asia, Egypt in Africa. 7,5 % of all WH sites have been covered by the WHTour : 57 sites with 288 VR movies available on this web site.
