Abstract

On 23rd and 24th June 2006, Helge Fischer, student at the "Hochschule für Künste, Bremen" [Bremen Art College] following his placement at the "eCulture Factory", exhibited his work "Tagesschau" [News] at the Bremen Media-Wall in Steintor. It presents mixed abstract current daily news images and invites associative reflection on the remaining day. The work shows a moving image, which at first sight, appears to be still. In this way, Helge Fischer sounds out perception modalities in public space and creates a new format over and beyond the video-clip and billboard.
