Abstract
The project eRENA (electronic Arenas for Culture, Performance, Art and Entertainment) explores the potential of digital technologies for space-related artistic productions in the areas VR, Mixed Reality and multi-user environments.
Within this context, the project developed models and interfaces for media productions in art, theater and entertainment.
The Research Group MARS developed the electronic Multi User Stage Environment (eMUSE) as Tool for Building. As Tools for Taking Part it created Virtual Balance™, MARS Bag, the Body Track system, the Interactive Internet-TV* (i2TV) and the Mixed Reality performance Murmuring Fields.
Applications
The tools and installations developed within the context of the eRENA project can be applied for media productions in museums, theaters and public spaces as well as in the area of media-cultural education.
