Abstract
ART IN OUTPUT is a biennial festival in the field of art, technology, and society. ART IN OUTPUT 2003: lost and found focuses on lost and found data files. In the ever growing stream of data and
because of the ever changing technique data files can get lost more and more easy. Found again, it becomes a fragment that can be given any desired
function or meaning by an outsider. ART IN OUTPUT consists (amongst others things) of a major international exhibition of interactive art, a multimedia installation inside a touring bus, and the musical theatre performance Chinese Whispers. ART IN OUTPUT takes place in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, from February 17th until March 2nd. The festival is organised by Studium Generale of the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven.
