Abstract
<<arctic circle>> is a 'double travel' investigatiing contemporary forms of lonliness. produced in 1995 for "Photography after Photography", this web-based performance and hypercinematic work is one of the earliest art works employing rich media - d_video_ live and remote on the net, sending and receiving from the polar regions of Canada in conjunction with servers in New York and Cologne.
