Kurzdarstellung

Kurzbeschreibung

The GO2 project creates an interface between real and virtual world by contactless data input with hand ges-tures without additional utilities. It permits the interaction with computer-generated objects in virtual environments. The end-user will then operate in a "projectedÅh virtual world, which will be created by workstations and LCD projector/beamer. The user then stands in the ray of light from the projec-tor and will be recognized by a video camera. The rec-ognized data will be analyzed and the recognized hand gesture triggers a defined action in the virtual reality. The procedure will be demonstrated by example of the Chinese board game GO. So up to two players can play against each other (only with hand gestures).
