Abstract

Staffan Bjork is the studio manager of the PLAY studio at the Interactive Institute in Sweden. He has a masterís degree in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Informatics, both from Gˆteborg University, Sweden. Besides Information Visualization, which was the subject of his Ph.D., his professional interests included ubiquitous computing and emergent narrative structures in interactive mediums.

The PLAY research group explores the future use of information technology through experimental designs, which include exploring new uses of existing computers and designing interaction with everyday objects augmented with computational capabilities.
