Supervisor commentary
Invisible Chamber portals the personal changing content of a media art and design student in entertaining daybook form. As an extension of the student's individual visual output and memory, it reflects upon its invisibility as time-based art does and place markers for a private inner experience may.
This mode of working crosses the border which network media affords - between public and private screenworlds, between highly individual expression, i.e. homepages, underground amateur flash and other media files, email, while investigating the entertaining promise of mainstream online media. Invisible Chamber happens in the space between grassroots and mass visual narrative media.
