Workshop #1: THEREMIN-SENSORS NETWORK/ORCHESTRA
_/Software:
The best choice is to work with MAX/MSP or PD software.
It is also possible to work with any favorite software in case you know exactly how to control it via OSC or MIDI.
In all cases control data will be provided via MAX/MSP or PD patches from instructor's library.
It is important to remember that in many cases the use of extra software will result in significant increase of latency and other possible timing problems.
_/Minimal configuration:
Laptop with PD or MAX/MSP installed
One free USB port
Personal headphones
5 m. long /or longer/ audio cable for each participant to connect to the main mixer (mono). Cable should have appropriate plug to fit participant's sound card and jack plug at the mixer side.

Workshop #2: RADIO HACKING + RADIO ORCHESTRA
Each participant should bring a working, battery powered, portable transistor radio (older models are preferable, tuning dial is essential) that can be taken apart and modified. We will provide the tools and components for the modification plus a limited number of radios to replace unusable or broken ones.
