Technical Description
loopArena was written in Processing, a simplified Java for programming visual applications. It uses the proMIDI library ton enable communication with MIDI instruments such as Synthesizers, Drumcompuers and Samplers ( Hardware or Software )
Hardware / Software
For input, a touchscreen is required, for high quality musical output music software like Reason or Reaktor is needed.
a Java Runtime environment must be installed on the Computer running loopArena, on Apple Computers, the plumstone Java extension is required for proper MIDI communication.
