Abstract

Rochus Hartmann was born on 4 Juni 1964 in Backnang.
Studied Visual Communication at the Fachhochschule für Gestaltung in Schwäbisch Gmünd, focussing on documentary film. Subsequently assistant and lecturer at the FH für Gestaltung.
1993 worked at avDigital “Gesellschaft für elektronische Informationsgestaltung und Multimediasysteme“ (Stuttgart) as head of graphics department.
Free-lance work mainly in electronic media, interactive systems, information design.
Since 1995 professor for electronic media at the Hochschule Anhalt (FH) in Dessau.

Works / Projects

Head of research project “Distance Learning“ in cooperation with the “Digital image archive“ of the university.
Coordination of all aspects of design in the cooperative project “Prometheus image archive“.
