Kurzbeschreibung

Nina Zaretskaja is Producer, TV journalist, video maker, media art curator and founding director of Art Media Center "TV Gallery" (1991). She realized a vast variety of TV programs, documentaries, videos and curatorial projects. Besides she participated in international shows and festivals in Russia, Spain, Germany, Croatia, Canada and USA. Zaretskaya has been involved in educational work and has lectured and written extensively on contemporary art.

Biografie

Born in Moscow. Lives and works in Moscow and New York. Holds a Ph.D. in Philology from Moscow State University with the thesis "Interaction between Word and Image in TV Journalism". Producer, TV journalist, video maker, media art curator, founding director of Art Media Center "TV Gallery" (1991). Recipient of numerous grants and fellowships.
